Logan Powell calls Michigan, USC early standouts, recaps Big Ten visit
Brophy College Prep (Arizona) four-star offensive lineman Logan Powell is one of the top prospect in Arizona.
The 6-foot-5, 285-pound offensive tackle is a top-300 recruit in the class of 2025 and holds offers from double-digit programs.
This weekend, Powell took a visit to Ann Arbor to check out the Wolverines - and he wasn't disappointed.
"My expectations were high, because they are the 'winningest team ever,' so they were originally high and they still exceeded them," he said.
The Arizona product was particularly blown away by the "electric" fanbase and the "high-tech" facilities.
Next up?
Well, Powell doesn't currently have much on the schedule, but he said he has a couple of trips in mind.
"I would love to go to USC and Tennessee, and definitely visit Michigan again," he said.
Powell called Michigan and USC early standouts, and he has a solid foundation building with the Trojans.
"I think I have a great relationship with USC," he said. "The Trojans are a good team and it’s a great school."
While it's early, it's also clear both Michigan and USC have made an early impression on one of the top offensive tackles out West.
