LeBron James 'can't wait' to see Ohio State football commit play in college

NBA superstar LeBron James is eager to see Ohio State's five-star commit make plays on Saturdays

The Ohio State Buckeyes have the nation's No. 2 recruiting class, led by four five-star prospects.

But with that loaded group, one player stands out among the rest as the class headliner.

And he's even drawn the attention of NBA superstar LeBron James.

Chaminade-Madonna (Florida) five-star wide receiver Jeremiah Smith is rated the nation's No. 1 overall prospect, and his highlights are a regular reminder of his dominance.

On Monday, James took note of Smith and indicated he "can't wait" to see him play for the Buckeyes:

Smith has been committed to Ohio State since last December, but has taken visits to several other programs over the past few months, including Florida State.

So far, however, no one has impressed him enough to lure him away from Ohio State.

And that seems even less likely to change now that LeBron James has taken an interest in Smith's future in Columbus.
