Alabama has offered two key Washington targets

Kalen DeBoer's move from the Washington Huskies to the Alabama Crimson Tide led to immediate recruiting fallout for the new Big Ten squad.

Washington lost its top pledges in the classes of 2024 and 2025, as Centennial (Arizona) edge-rusher Noah Carter and Bethel (Washington) linebacker Zaydrius Rainey-Sale both announced their decommitments.

And DeBoer would like to bring them both to Tuscaloosa.

This week Alabama extended scholarship offers to both Carter, the nation's No. 8 edge-rusher in 2024, and Rainey-Sale, the top 2025 prospect in the Northwest.

For Rainey-Sale, the nation's No. 80 overall prospect, the offer is an eye-opener.

"The offer means a lot, knowing that I can build a relationship with new coaches and knowing that I'll be getting better and better at Bama," he said.

Rainey-Sale has a lot of time to make a decision, but the same can't be said for Carter.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound All-American Bowl standout signed with the Huskies during the early signing period and announced his decommitment over the weekend.

Therefore, Carter will get a second opportunity to find a home.

Expect Alabama to be a major contender with DeBoer in the fold.
