George MacIntyre, Tennessee 5-star quarterback commit, visiting campus alongside 5-star wide receiver
The Tennessee Volunteers have six early commitments in their 2025 recruiting class, and the gem of the group is already likely in the fold.
In January, Josh Heupel and Joey Halzle secured the commitment of Brentwood Academy (Tennessee) five-star quarterback George MacIntyre, the nation's No. 10 overall prospect and No. 3 signal-caller.
The 6-foot-6, 190-pound passer is one of the highest-rated in-state commitments in program history.
And he's clearly hoping to bring some help along with him.
MacIntyre shared that he will be visiting campus this week alongside Mandarin (Florida) five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench, the nation's No. 16 overall prospect and No. 3 pass catcher:
Ffrench, one of the nation's most explosive playmakers, previously committed to Alabama, but reopened his recruitment following the retirement of Nick Saban.
That opening has rejuvenated the recruiting effort to land the Florida star, who has compiled more than 30 scholarship offers during the process.
Turns out, Ffrench won't be the only elite pass-catcher in Knoxville.
Following up on MacIntyre and Ffrench's back-and-forth, Derby (Kansas) four-star tight end Da'Saahn Brame made it clear he'd soon see the duo as well, confirming previously reports that he was set to visit Tennessee soon.
"See you soon fam," he wrote.
As a junior, Brame hauled in 46 receptions for 942 yards and 13 touchdowns, earning the distinction of the nation's No. 4 tight end.
While Oregon is considered the favorite for the Kansas native, both Alabama and Tennessee are making a push.
Could MacIntyre's peer recruiting effort soon lead to a special trio in Knoxville?
This week's visits could provide some clarity on that front.
