Oregon Ducks emerge as early leader for elite offensive tackle

Mater Dei (California) four-star offensive tackle Kodi Greene is quite high on the Oregon Ducks early in the process

It has been a busy spring for class of 2026 bluechip offensive tackle Kodi Greene.

The 6-foot-6, 295-pound sophomore transferred from Eastside Catholic (Washington) to national powerhouse program Mater Dei (California), where he is already seeing a change in the weight room regime.

Perhaps that's one reason the emerging star is rated the nation's No. 46 overall prospect and No. 6 offensive tackle

But Greene expects even more growth when he starts to get regular reps against All-American-caliber edge-rusher and new teammate Nasir Wyatt.

On the recruiting trail, Greene is also honing in on his best options - with the Oregon Ducks emerging as a his early favorite.

This week on "Recruiting with Andrew Nemec" on ESPN-affiliate 1080 The FAN, Greene joined me to discuss what stands out about Oregon and some of the other programs recruiting him hard, including Michigan, USC and Washington.

He also laid out his tentative visit plans in the coming weeks.
