Justin Rembert, Crestwood Boys Basketball
The 5-foot-10 senior guard scored 20 points in the Knights’ 73-47 rout of Camden. Rembert helped lead Crestwood to the region championship.
Joseph McMillan, South Florence, Boys Basketball
McMillan scored 17 points, claimed 6 rebounds and had 3 assists as the Bruins beat West Florence 55-50 to secure their first home playoff game since 2015.
Lindsay Garner, Lexington, Girls Basketball
The 6-foot-2 senior scored 13 points and had a key steal in the closing seconds as the Wildcats beat Dutch Fork 39-38 to win the program’s fifth consecutive region championship.
Luke Chapman, River Bluff, Boys Basketball
Chapman scored a season-high 26 points in River Bluff’s 59-52 win over Dutch Fork. The 6-foot-4 junior averages 7.5 points and 5.3 rebounds.
Amari Evans, Hammond School, Boys Basketball
Evans, a 6-foot-1 senior guard, scored 24 points in the Skyhawks’ 49-35 win over Cardinal Newman.
Tilden Riley, Orangeburg Prep, Boys Basketball
The 6-foot-4 freshman scored 29 points, grabbed 22 rebounds and blocked 4 shots in the Indians’ 59-41 won over Palmetto Christian.
Johnell Sindab, Mullins, Boys Basketball
The Auctioneers’ senior guard scored a season-high 33 points in a 100-65 win over rival Marion. Mullins clinched the region championship with the win. Sindab is averaging 21.0 points and 6.2 rebounds. Mullins clinched the region championship.
JaiDah Liebert, Spring Valley, Girls Basketball
The 5-foot-8 senior scored 23 points in leading Spring Valley to a 78-48 victory over Nation Ford. Liebert is averaging 13.9 points to lead the Vikings, who won the region championship with the win.
Hillary Offing, Dutch Fork, Girls Basketball
Offing scored 26 points in the Silver Foxes’ 52-29 pounding of River Bluff. The 5-foot-11 senior forward averages 17.5 points and 9.1 rebounds to lead Dutch Fork in both categories.
Abby Peduzzi, Hilton Head Christian, Girls Basketball
The 5-foot-9 senior scored 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting as the Eagles whipped Beaufort Academy 72-48. She also contributed 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Peduzzi is averaging 10.9 points and 9.5 rebounds.
