We have 10 athletes nominated this week for SBLive’s South Carolina Boys Basketball Player of the Week from Jan. 8-14 and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Sunday, Jan. 21 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Josh Gamble, West Florence
Gamble poured in 31 points as the Knights surprised North Myrtle Beach 65-60 in region action. Gamble leads the Knights with 15.6 points a game.
Zamaurious Robertson, Dillon
Dillon lost 78-75 in overtime to Loris but Robertson lit up the scoreboard for 35 points. That’s well above his average of 12.2 points per game.
Tayshaun Jackson, Hunter-Kinard-Tyler
Jackson scored 20 points to go along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals as the Trojans downed Wagener-Salley 49.
Nas Berry, Fort Mill
Berry scored 22 points in Fort Mill’s 58-48 win over Blythewood.
Malik Ashe, Rock Hill
The senior guard scored 23 points as the Bearcats edged Spring Valley 49-47 in a region game.
Drew Spires, Richard Winn Academy
Spires scored 23 points in the Eagles’ 77-46 win over Cambridge Academy. The 6-foot-2 senior leads the Eagles with 18 points per game.
Sincere Rasul, Indian Land
Rasul scored 15 points to lead the way in the Warriors’ 49-48 win over Northwestern. The 6-foot senior guard is averaging 13.2 points a game.
Landon Cloninger, North Myrtle Beach
Cloninger buried a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Chiefs to a 63-60 region win over Hartsville.
Colby Richardson, Pee Dee Academy
Richardson played a dominant role with 28 points as the Eagles beat Cathedral Academy 39-28. That’s well above is average of 11.3 points per game.
Kayzzin McDowell, James F. Byrnes
McDowell scored 18 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in the Rebels’ 84-62 win over Spartanburg. The 6-foot-2 senior guard is averaging 12.7 points per game.
