We have 10 players nominated this week for SBLive’s South Carolina Boys Basketball Player of the Week from Feb. 5-10 and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Here are this week's nominees:
Josiah Peeples, Cardinal Newman
Peeples scored 19 points in the Cardinals’ 54-40 win over Trinity Collegiate. The 6-foot-3 senior also went over 1,000 points for his career.
Isaac Smalls, Cane Bay
Smalls led the way with 30 points as Cane Bay rallied for a 59-56 win over Berkeley. That was well above the 6-foot-2 senior’s average of 11.3 points.
Tre’von Walker, Aiken
Walker led his team with 20 points and got a key offensive rebound in the closing seconds as the Fighting Green Hornets held off rival South Aiken 64-60. The 6-foot-4 junior is Aiken’s leading rebounder.

Will Willard, A.C. Flora
Willard scored 18 points as the Falcons upset top-ranked Ridge View 46-45. Ridge View is also nationally ranked.
Zion Brown, Westwood
Brown scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as the Redhawks overcame Richland Northeast 52-49 in overtime to clinch the program’s first region championship.
Lamont Jackson, C.A. Johnson
Jackson poured in 28 points as the Green Hornets beat Great Falls 63-57 to claim the school’s first region championship in boys basketball since 2015.
Brady Poole, Chesnee
Poole scored 23 points and went over 2,000 for his career in the Eagles’ 91-45 romp over Greenville Tech. The 6-foot-2 senior averages 20.2 points a game.
Jack Pfister, Greer Middle College
The 6-foot-5 senior posted 24 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocked shots in a 69-54 win over Landrum.
Tykeen Ross, Denmark-Olar
Ross produced a double-double of 15 points and 14 rebounds in the Vikings’ 82-31 romp over Wagener-Salley.
Gabe Cusack, Marion
Cusack scored 18 points as the Swamp Foxes beat rival Mullins 76-65 to win the region championship.
