FLORENCE, SOUTH CAROLINA – Korie Corbett scored 18 points and Ridge View beat Riverside 58-52 to win the 4-A state championship on Saturday at the Florence Center.

Jayden Pretty added 15 points for the Blazers, who finished with a 27-2 record.

Julen Iturbe led Riverside with 12 points while Drew Cannon had 11 and Sebi Boyogueno 10.

Ridge View jumped to a 14-2 lead in the first quarter. Riverside battled back to make it a close game but Ridge View never relinquished the lead.
