South Carolina high school baseball Super 7 rankings (3/15/2024)
Break out the bats and gloves as high school baseball season is upon us across the country, especially in the Palmetto State. One of the tops when it comes to high level baseball, South Carolina features several teams that are among the East Coast’s best around.
We start off the 2024 baseball season with our first Super 7 rankings. Starting off at the top spot is the Catawba Ridge followed by Williamsburg Academy. Check out our power rankings and let us know what you think.

1. Catawba Ridge (5-0)
The Copperheads made a statement at the beginning of the season when they defeated Summerville 4-1. Since then, Catawba Ridge has rolled to victories over Blue Ridge, Laurens, Fort Mill and South Pointe.
2. Williamsburg Academy (9-0)
Through nine games, the Stallions have shown the ability to score a ton of runs and shut teams out. Williamsburg Academy has shut out wins over Lake City, Lee Academy and Thomas Sumter Academy.
3. Hilton Head Christian Academy (9-1)
After starting off the season with 10-5 win over Milton (Georgia), with the Eagles have ripped off eight wins over the following nine games. Hilton Head Christian’s only loss is a 9-4 decision against Norfolk Academy (Virginia).
4. Trinity Collegiate (7-1)
When Trinity Collegiate lost to Florence Christian 12-7 to start the season, that set off a dominant stretch to follow. The Titans have yielded just one run in the following seven games.
5. Laurens (7-2)
The Raiders have impressed through nine games, with their only two losses against Catawba and Fountain Inn. Back to back victories over Eastside has this club rolling as they head into the second half of March.
6. Gray Collegiate Academy (8-0)
The War Eagles have faced a strong regular season slate through the first eight games. Gary Collegiate Academy has won four games by a margin of four runs of less. Conner Holmes has driven in 15 runs and is batting .500 at the plate.
7. Summerville (3-2)
We still have faith that the Green Wave will bounce back from the couple of early losses to Catawba Ridge and Berkeley. Now Summerville can lean on its ability defensive, as they’ve only yielded six runs through five games.
