Newport Christian School Seahawks cruises by Lancaster Baptist Eagles 53-32 in California high school basketball game

Staples Center - Newport Christian School Guard Abbi Bowman led all scorers with 24 points as the Seahawks beat Lancaster Baptist Eagles 53-32 in a game at Staples Center .

Bowman's points came on 12 field goals during the game.

Ruth L added 13. Lancaster Baptist fell to 0-1 overall while Newport Christian School improved their record to 2-0.

Lancaster Baptist's next game is scheduled to be played at on Friday Dec. 10 versus Trona High School. Newport Christian School will host California School For The Deaf Riverside on Thursday Dec. 9
