Jesuit Tigers beat Wharton Wildcats 34-20 in Florida high school football game

Jesuit - Jesuit High School quarterback Will Griffin racked up 327 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to lead the Jesuit Tigers to a 34-20 win over the Wharton Wildcats on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Tigers also received vital efforts from running back Justin Thurman who rushed 15 times for 34 yards and Hezekiah Davis who rushed 2 times for 9 yards.

Wharton's Jackson Jensen threw for 165 yards and 3 touchdowns, Nahiem Doctor picked up 48 rushing yards and Terek Mccant had 79 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns.

The win helps Jesuit improve to 1-0 on the season while Wharton falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
