Hoggard Vikings beat South View Tigers 6-0 in North Carolina high school football game

Wilmington, NC - Hoggard High School quarterback Sam Jones accumulated 85 rushing yards to help the Hoggard Vikings to a 6-0 win over the South View Tigers on Friday night at Wilmington, NC in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received vital efforts from running back Sam Williams who rushed 29 times for 91 yards and running back Cayden Hollar who rushed 6 times for 12 yards.

South View's Jabori Lee threw for 60 yards, Christian Rutledge picked up 134 rushing yards and Cadavion Wembley had 46 receiving yards.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 11-1 on the season while South View falls to 9-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
