Hoggard Vikings beat Scotland Fighting Scots 18-8 in North Carolina high school football game

Braswell Stadium - Hoggard High School quarterback Hudson Wilharm picked up 184 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to help the Hoggard Vikings to a 18-8 win over the Scotland Fighting Scots on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received major efforts from running back M'Kel Bellamy who rushed 12 times for 65 yards and running back Cayden Hollar who rushed 8 times for 19 yards.

Scotland's Carter Revelle threw for 256 yards, Zay Jones picked up 8 rushing yards and Izeem Graham had 130 receiving yards.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 2-0 on the season while Scotland falls to 1-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Hoggard travels to Wake Forest, NC to take on the Wake Forest Cougars on Friday September 2. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
