Holmen Vikings edge Logan Rangers 17-14 in WI high school football game

Holmen - Holmen High School quarterback Alex Berget picked up 134 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to guide the Holmen Vikings to a 17-14 win over the Logan Rangers on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received crucial efforts from running back AJ Alesch who rushed 8 times for 52 yards and running back Jack Barth who rushed 7 times for 24 yards.

Logan's quarterback Bradley Check threw for 188 yards and 2 touchdowns and wide receiver Tommy Check had 93 receiving yards.

The win helps Holmen improve to 6-2 on the season while Logan falls to 6-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Holmen travels to Reedsburg, WI to take on the Reedsburg Beavers on Friday October 18. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
