MVP Bailey Maupin scores game-high 16 points and grabs 14 rebounds for Greyhounds

SAN ANTONIO - Bailey Maupin scored a game-high 16 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Gruver over Stamford 50-38 on Saturday afternoon in the UIL Class 2A girls basketball championship at the Alamodome.

The Greyhounds finished the season undefeated with a 33-0 mark.

Brenna Butler had 12 points and six assists in the victory.

Tylee Jo Bevel and Shandlee Mueller led Stamford (36-3) with 13 points each.
