DeLeon blasted a three-run homer and Jamie Burch allowed just one hit to lead the Lady Pirates
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Celeste DeLeon provided the big blow on offense and Jamie Burch turned in a brilliant performance in the circle to lift the Sinton softball team to a 13-2 road victory over Miller on Tuesday night.
DeLeon's three-run home run sparked a Sinton offense that banged out 14 hits. Mia Garcia and Jailynn Castillo each had three hits for the Lady Pirates.
Burch picked up the win, allowing just one hit and striking out six. The victory sets up a showdown with Rockport Fulton on Friday for the district title.
