We started with an inside look at the Top 20 catchers, the Top 25 corner infielders and the Top 30 middle infielders in the state. Now we're turning our attention to the Top 30 outfielders.

TOP 30 OUTFIELDERS IN TEXAS HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL

Max Belyeu, sr., Aledo
Belyeu has the ability to play all three outfield positions for Aledo. The Texas signee has a controlled approach at the plate with plenty of power in his bat.
Tristan Bittle, so., Martin
Bittle, a Texas A&M commit, has been a productive outfielder for Martin as a sophomore. Bittle is also a standout on the football field who plays quarterback, running back and wide receiver.
Jason Bodin, jr., Orangefield
Bodin is a two-way standout with swing-and-miss stuff on the mound and an advanced approach at the plate. The Texas A&M commit could pitch and play the outfield in college.
Brenner Cox, sr., Rock Hill
Cox is an electric athlete with a powerful swing from the left side. The Texas signee is also a standout pitcher who commands an overpowering mid-90s fastball.
Jeric Curtis, sr., Tomball Memorial
Curtis has a football background, but the senior is now focused on baseball. The Texas Tech signee possesses blazing speed and is a tenacious contact hitter.
Jacob Devenny, sr., Prosper
Devenny overcame injury issues early in his high school career to earn a scholarship from Rice. The senior has hit for power and average during his final season at Prosper.
Jake Duer, sr., Marcus
Duer is a strong defensive outfielder who has heated up at the plate for Marcus. The TCU signee is a great runner and has a smooth swing from the left side of the plate.
Trey Duffield, sr., Strake Jesuit
Duffield is a power-hitting outfielder who belted his seventh homer of the season to close district play. The Rice signee is also a rangy outfielder who can run down fly balls.
Sam Erickson, so., Flower Mound
A well-built sophomore with a ton of pop in his bat, Erickson is rated the No. 74 national prospect for the class of 2024 by Perfect Game. Erickson has given a verbal commitment to Texas A&M.
Gabriel Flores, sr., Longview
Flores is a good defensive outfielder who keeps getting better and better at the plate. The Houston signee also has a plus fastball on the mound from the right side.
Kendall George, jr., Atascocita
George is one of the fastest players in Texas who uses his speed in the outfield and on the base paths. The Arkansas commit is a feared left-handed bat in Atascocita’s lineup.
Jace LaViolette, sr., Tompkins
An imposing 6-foot-6 left-hander, Tompkins is a power hitter from the left side with impressive speed for his size. The Texas A&M signee recently belted two home runs in a victory over Katy.
Marshall Lipsey, sr., Spring Hill
Lipsey is a fast-twitch athlete with impressive power to both gaps. The TCU signee has piled up hits from the left side of the plate since his freshman year at Spring Hill.
Cort MacDonald, sr., Pantego Christian
MacDonald, a Stanford signee, is a pure power hitter who drives the ball over the fence to all fields. He is also a star left-handed pitcher who threw a 14-strikeout no-hitter in early April.
Xander McAfee, sr., Southwest Christian
McAfee has excellent skills in center field and a strong swing from the right side. The Texas State signee hit .571 the week of April 17-22 with a double, a triple and two home runs.
Derrick Mitchell, jr., John Paul II
Mitchell is a super-talented, switch-hitting junior who has been tearing it up for John Paul II. The LSU commit is Perfect Game’s No. 68 national recruit for the class of 2023.
Litarris Murray, jr., Prestonwood Christian Academy
Murray is a menace on the basepaths who can play any position in the outfield. The Oklahoma commit has an excellent 6-foot-3 frame and can drive the ball to all fields.
Sam Myers, jr., Cypress Woods
Myers is an elite leadoff batter for Cypress Woods. The TCU commit loves to get on base and do damage with a bat in his hands.
Nehomar Ochoa, so., Galena Park
Ochoa is a 6-foot-4 sophomore who has had a breakout season for Galena Park. The Houston commit is rated No. 91 nationally for the class of 2024 by Perfect Game.
Park Prater, so., Argyle
A rising sophomore for 4A title contender Argyle, Prater has a good stroke from the left side. He is also a feared pitcher with a nasty breaking ball.
Carson Queck, sr., The Woodlands Christian Academy
Queck is a talented senior outfielder who is known for hitting the long ball. The Kansas State signee is also a power arm on the mound for The Woodlands Christian Academy.
Dylan Schlaegel, jr., Mansfield Legacy
Schlaegel, a recent Dallas Baptist commit, has had a monster junior season at the plate for Mansfield Legacy. He knows how to showcase his electric speed in the outfield and on the bases.
Brayden Sharp, jr., The Woodlands
Sharp, Perfect Game’s No. 98 national recruit for the class of 2023, is another two-way standout. The Baylor commit has a ton of speed in the outfield and also brings it on the mound from the left side.
Chase Sowell, sr., Atascocita
Sowell is a lanky 6-foot-4 outfielder with speed to burn and a strong throwing arm. Despite his baseball prowess, Sowell will play football in College for Colorado.
Aidan Smith, jr., Lovejoy
Smith is a big, athletic outfielder with lots of juice in his bat. The Mississippi State commit also hits for average from the right side of the plate.
Jacob Sullens, sr., Keller
Sullens has been a clutch performer all season for Keller. The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi signee has great bat speed and is a good all-around athlete.
Brady Sullivan, jr., Cypress Wood
Sullivan is a pure hitter from the left side who makes plenty of contact. The Texas A&M commit is also a strong defensive outfielder with solid athleticism.
Tavion Vaughns, sr., Cedar Hill
Standing 6-foot-3 with plenty of pop in his bat, Vaughns is a physical specimen for Cedar Hill. The Oklahoma signee has been a long-ball hitter this season.
Kasen Wells, sr., Smithson Valley
Wells recently hit for the cycle in a victory over Judson. The Texas A&M signee can spray the ball to all fields from the left side of the plate.
John Youens, jr., Bosqueville
Youens has been racking up impressive offensive stats as a junior while dominating on the mound for Bosqueville. Youens has committed to his hometown Baylor Bears.
