AUSTIN - Class 2A and 5A athletes from across the state are competing at the 2022 Texas (UIL) Track and Field State Championships at the University of Texas on Friday. 

Friday's meet started at 9 a.m. with session No. 3 (the field events and the 3200-meter race) and it concludes with session No. 4 (the track events) starting at 5 p.m.
