Watch: Notre Dame commit Peyton Bowen's wild punt return earns SportsCenter's top play

Bowen broke six tackles en route to a 60-yard touchdown in No. 13 Denton Guyer's blowout win over Allen (Texas)

Oklahoma-bound senior quarterback Jackson Arnold may have had the most impressive stat line in leading Denton Guyer (Texas) to a 49-7 win over Allen on national television Thursday night, throwing for more than 400 yards and five touchdowns.

But Peyton Bowen, a five-star safety and Notre Dame commit, had the highlight of the night.

Bowen weaved through a heap of defenders for a 60-yard punt return for touchdown on the second play of the fourth quarter. It was the No. 1 play on ESPN's SportsCenter by the end of the night.

Denton Guyer — the No. 13 team in the SBLive/Sports Illustrated Power 25 national football rankings — improved to 8-0 overall with the victory.

Bowen is the No. 18 ranked prospect in the nation in the class of 2023 and No. 4 overall in Texas, according to On3

He committed to Notre Dame over Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Ole Miss, but is reportedly still taking visits.
