With four months of regular-season action and a wild opening round of the postseason officially in the books, it’s time to turn our attention to the second round of the 2022-23 Texas high school boys basketball playoffs.

Now after earning their spots in the postseason and securing bi-district round playoff victories, the Lone Star State’s top 64 teams from six different classification levels have punched their tickets to the area round of the UIL’s Class 1A-6A boys basketball playoffs, which will begin Thursday, Feb. 23, and wrap up Saturday, Feb. 25.

Here’s a closer look at every Class 6A area playoff matchup during the second round of the UIL’s 2022-23 Texas high school boys basketball playoffs:
