Last weekend the Lone Star State’s top high school sprinters, throwers, hurdlers, jumpers and distance runners converged on Mike A. Myers Stadium at the University of Texas in Austin to compete for three days at the 2023 UIL State Track & Field Meet.

The most elite athletes in Texas high school track and field put on a show in the state capital with many standout medalists and several record-breaking performances highlighted the action during the 112th edition of the UIL’s track and field state championship meet.

The state’s top Class 1A-6A track and field stars combined to break nearly two dozen UIL state records in three days.

Here’s a complete list of every state record broken from Thursday, May 11th, to Saturday, May 13th, at the University of Texas’ Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin.
