Wall beats Corpus Christi London in 3A Texas (UIL) baseball state semifinals (photos)
ROUND ROCK, Texas — Wall allowed just two hits and rode a five-inning relief outing from Kellan Oliver to a 5-1 win over defending champ Corpus Christi-London in the Texas (UIL) 3A state semifinals on Friday.
Oliver struck out two, allowed two hits, one earned run and five walks on the outing, for which he earned game MVP honors.
The Hawks face the Boyd Yellowjackets (39-5) in the Class 3A UIL Baseball State Championship game at 9 a.m. on Saturday at Dell Diamond in Round Rock.

Trailing 3-1 in the top of the seventh with two outs in the top of the seventh, London had a chance to send the game into the bottom of the inning with a two-run deficit.
But sophomore Caleb Braden singled to center field and drove in two insurance runs before a runner was tagged at third to end the inning.
