Justin Williams commits to Georgia: Bulldogs land nation's No. 1 linebacker over Oregon

Conroe Oak Ridge (Texas) five-star gives Georgia third No. 1 prospect at his position in 2024 class

Justin Williams, the nation's No. 1 rated linebacker, announced his commitment to the Georgia Bulldogs over the Oregon Ducks on Monday.

Williams' commitment gives the Bulldogs the third No. 1 player in the nation at his position. Buford (Georgia) quarterback Dylan Raiola is the nation's top-rated prospect and IMG Academy (Florida) standout Ellis Robinson IV is the top-rated cornerback in the country.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Conroe Oak Ridge (Texas) five-star logged 105 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks as a junior.

On3 and 247 Sports both predicted Williams was headed to Georgia, the two-time defending national champion which also holds the nation's top-ranked 2024 recruiting class.

Williams began his high school career at safety and moved up to linebacker in college.

The decision was made on On3's YouTube page. Watch the announcement here:
