DALLAS, Texas — In a game that ended early after a crowd incident, No. 11 DeSoto defeated host South Oak Cliff 54-14 on Saturday night at John Kincaide Stadium.
The Eagles, who improved to 2-0, scored on each of their first seven possessions.
The game was called with more than six minutes left as both teams sprinted off the field with reports of a shooting incident, though it was not clear whether it was in the stands or outside the stadium.
