TEXAS OFFENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL NOMINEES
Hunter Andrews, sr., Magnolia
Andrews, a Utah commit, ran for five touchdowns in a 44-14 rivalry victory over Magnolia West.
Kaleb Bailey, jr., North Shore
Bailey accounted for four total touchdowns — two passing and two rushing — in a 31-21 win over Summer Creek.
Jax Brown, jr., Weiss
Completed 32 of 43 passes (75 percent) for just shy of 400 passing yards and five touchdowns without an interception in a 49-7 win over Copperas Cove.
Mikey Cota, jr., Odessa
Cota completed 19 of 29 passes for 404 yards and five touchdowns as Odessa survived a shootout with Permian, 49-42.
Michael Hawkins, sr., Emerson
Hawkins ran for a touchdown and threw four more in a 56-14 blowout of Memorial. The four-star Oklahoma commit has 25 passing touchdowns and zero interceptions this season.
Tripp Holley, sr., Lake Highlands
Holley threw for 160 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 85 more yards and another score in a 41-14 victory over Irving MacArthur.
Jake Krekeler, sr., Argyle
Krekeler ran for 128 yards and three touchdowns in a 52-21 win over Lake Dallas.
DJ Lagway, sr., Willis
Lagway was back at it again this week, throwing for 391 yards and five touchdowns in a 56-17 blowout of College Park. The five-star Florida commit has 41 total touchdowns through seven games this season.
Peyton Matthews, jr., Harlan
Hauled in 14 catches for 241 receiving yards and three touchdowns in a 44-38 win over Sotomayor.
Heath McRee, sr., Westlake
McRee, a Houston commit, had six receptions for 144 yards and three touchdowns as Westlake downed Anderson, 67-14.
Keelon Russell, jr., Duncanville
Russell, a four-star SMU commit, threw for 278 yards and three touchdowns in Duncanville’s 44-10 win over Waxahachie.
Stetson Sarratt, sr., Midlothian Heritage
Sarratt caught six passes for 79 yards and three touchdowns and returned an interception 22 yards for another score in a 42-7 win over Mansfield Summit.
Taylor Tatum, sr., Longview
Tatum, a five-star Oklahoma commit, ran for 183 yards and a touchdown in a 13-7 victory over Forney.
Adrian Wilson, jr., Weiss
Reeled in six catches for four touchdowns and 112 receiving yards as Weiss moved to 7-0.
Michael Wilson, sr., Klein Collins
Wilson ran for 256 yards and two touchdowns as Klein Collins took down previously unbeaten Tomball Memorial, 35-14.
