Week 8 of the Texas high school football regular season continues Saturday, and the SBLive Texas scoreboard will be providing live updates of every game in the state.

Friday night brought upsets and plenty of fireworks. Every team ranked in the SBLive Texas Power 25 has taken care of business, save for McKinney, which was blown out by Allen. In east Texas, No. 24 Timpson took care of business at West Sabine

Reagan beat San Antonio district foe Johnson in a strong matchup, vaulting the undefeated Rattlers into sole possession of the District 28-6A title race.

Four teams in Texas are ranked in SBLive/Sports Illustrated's Power 25Duncanville is No. 6, DeSoto No. 8, Galena Park North Shore is No. 10 and Austin Westlake is No. 20 in Monday's update.
