Heavy rainfall and flood warnings in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex postponed the from Friday night to Saturday. Duncanville (7-0, 5-0) entered the No. 1 team in the state, DeSoto (7-0, 5-0) No. 2.
The National Weather Service issued flood warnings in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex Friday night into Saturday morning and there were reports of lightning through the evening.
Duncanville is ranked No. 5 and DeSoto No. 7 in the SBLive/Sports Illustrated Power 25 national football rankings.
