Duncanville (7-0, 5-0 6A - Region 2 - District 1)

The biggest question surrounding the Panthers is which is better: their defense or their offense?

With 354 points scored this season, Duncanville is averaging more than 50 points per game. Defensively, they've shut out four of their seven opponents in 2023 and allow an average of less than four points per contest.

If the Panthers can continue their stellar play, fans may see a similar result like they saw last year when Duncanville dominated DeSoto 41-17.

DeSoto (7-0, 5-0)

If not for Duncanville, the Eagles would be considered the best team in the state of Texas.

They too have scored 354 points this season, but their defense hasn't been quite as strong as the Panthers' has, allowing just over 13 points per game so far this year.

Despite allowing a few more points per contest, DeSoto has won every game this year by at least three touchdowns and has an average margin of victory of more than 37 ppg.
