Each week throughout the season, SBLive is taking a look at the top high school football performers across the Lone Star State. We gathered the best of the best, separated offense from defense, and now it’s your turn to cast your vote on a winner.

TEXAS OFFENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL NOMINEES
DJ Bailey, sr., DeSoto
Bailey, a Sam Houston State commit, completed 17 of 20 passes for 270 yards and two touchdowns in a 59-16 victory over Cedar Hill.
Christopher Barnes, sr., North Shore
Barnes, a North Texas commit, had seven receptions for 203 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-28 win over Atascocita.
Joseph Dodds, sr., Tidehaven
Dodds carried it 40 times for 228 yards and three touchdowns as Tidehaven got past Poth in overtime, 34-28. The Baylor commit also had 90 yards receiving and one TD.
Caden Durham, jr., Duncanville
Durham, a four-star LSU commit, had 206 total yards and four touchdowns in a 70-28 victory over Westfield.
Danny Green, sr., South Oak Cliff
Green ran for 187 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-0 shutout of Lovejoy.
Michael Hawkins, sr., Frisco Emerson
Hawkins accounted for six total touchdowns in a 59-48 shootout win over Colleyville Heritage. The four-star Oklahoma commit completed 21 of 25 passes for 316 yards and three touchdowns while also running for 128 yards and three scores.
Jayden Jackson, jr., Franklin
Jackson was a workhorse in Franklin’s 49-27 victory over Lorena, carrying it 37 times for 312 yards and five touchdowns.
Noah Long, sr., Liberty Hill
Long had 18 carries for 143 yards and three touchdowns in a 28-14 win over San Antonio Pieper.
Armando Lujan, jr., Sunray
Lujan passed for 357 yards and seven touchdowns in a 67-6 drubbing of Clarendon. The junior also ran for 44 yards and a score.
Mar’kel Porter, sr., Lancaster
Porter, a Bowling Green commit, had 27 carries for 154 yards and three touchdowns in a 43-41 double-overtime loss to Forney.
Maddux Reid, sr., Parish Episcopal
Reid, a Harvard commit, piled up 188 rushing yards and four touchdowns as Parish Episcopal defeated Houston St. Thomas for its fifth straight TAPPS Division I state championship, 40-29.
Cadon Tennison, jr., Gilmer
Tennison completed 18 of 26 passes for 254 yards and three touchdowns as Gilmer upset Carthage in overtime, 47-44. The Bulldogs entered with a 29-game winning streak.
Luke Ullrich, sr., Colleyville Heritage
Ullrich was sensational in the loss to Frisco Emerson, throwing for 413 yards and three touchdowns while running for 169 yards and two TDs.
