Texas high school state football championship brackets: 2023 UIL finals matchups, game times
Texas high school football state championship week is here. This week, 24 teams that have reached the top of the UIL playoff mountain will go head-to-head at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
Games take place at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. (Central time) Wednesday through Saturday. Three nationally ranked teams will be playing: DeSoto, Duncanville and North Shore.
The action begins Wednesday with Class 1A Division I (6-man), Class 1A Division II (6-man) and Class 2A Division I.
On Thursday, Albany takes on mart in 2A Division II, Malakoff and Franklin face off in 3A Division I and Gunter and Tidehaven play in 3A Division II.
Friday features Anna-Chapel Hill (4A Division I), Gilmer-Bellville (4A Division I) and Aledo-Smithson Valley (5A Division I), teeing up South Oak Cliff-Port Neches Grove (5A Division II), Duncanville-North Shore (6A Division I) and DeSoto-Summer Creek (6A Division II) on Saturday.
