Terry Bussy accounted for six touchdowns to lead Timpson to a 49-7 victory over Tolar on Wednesday night in the Texas (UIL) 2-A Division 1 state football championship game at AT&T Stadium.

Bussy passed for 311 yards and four touchdowns and he added a game-high 155 yards rushing and scored two touchdowns.

Dacorian Johnson had six receptions for a game-high 187 yards receiving and he caught two touchdowns from Bussy covering 97 and 44 yards.

Issac Blessing led Tolar (14-2) with 108 yards rushing and he scored a touchdown.

The Bears (16-0), who held a commanding 21-0 lead at the half, won their first state football title in program history.
