Texas high school football state championship Saturday is here and the final UIL trophies will be handed out to the biggest classifications. 

Port Neches-Groves unseated two-time 5A Division II state champion South Oak Cliff to win its first title in 48 years and nationally ranked Duncanville held off North Shore to repeat as 6A Division I champs to open the three-game slate in AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Saturday. 

DeSoto, the top-ranked team in Texas, beat Summer Creek handily in 6A Division II to wrap up the week.
