The North Crowley Panthers (15-0) defeated the Duncanville Panthers (13-2) 36-34 in the UIL Class 6A Division 1 Texas high school football semifinal on Friday at Allen's Eagle Stadium.

North Crowley was aggressive from the start. After a first quarter touchdown, North Crowley recovered an onside kick and then scored another touchdown for an early 12-0 lead.

The Panthers built a 15-0 lead, but Duncanville scored two touchdowns before halftime to trail by one point. But North Crowley continued to play well, even when Duncanville took a lead in the third quarter.

The teams traded touchdowns in the fourth quarter, but Duncanville's two turnovers gave North Crowley the final edge.

North Crowley will play Austin Westlake in the UIL Class 6A Division 1 championship on December 21 at 7 p.m. at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
