The Randle Lions (15-0) defeated the Boerne Greyhounds (11-4) 42-7 in the UIL Class 5A Division 2 Texas high school football semifinals on Friday at McLane Stadium.

The Greyhounds only trailed 14-7 at halftime, but the Lions' offense exploded for three touchdowns in the third quarter to pull away.

Randle senior Keilan Sweeny ran, caught and threw for a touchdown in the game.

Randle will play in the Class 5A Division 2 championship game against the South Oak Cliff Bears (13-2) on Friday, December 20 at 7 p.m. at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
