The No. 7 Southlake Carroll Dragons (5-0) defeated the Timber Creek Falcons (4-1) 44-7 at Southlake Carroll High School on Friday in a Texas high school football showdown.

Timber Creek scored the first touchdown, but the Dragons scored 44 unanswered points. Receiver Brock Boyd caught two touchdown passes, and running back Riley Wormley ran for three touchdowns before he left the game with an apparent leg injury.

Southlake Carroll faces Keller (3-2) next week.
