Playoff season is on to Round 3 in 2024 Texas high school football, with regional games kicking off Thursday, Nov. 28, and continuing through Saturday, Nov. 30.

Overtime thrillers happened all over the UIL playoffs in Week 2, and here are 10 things we learned from all the Area round action.

Many of the top college prospects still playing for state championships across the country are from Texas.

The UIL state football playoffs last more than a month. The opening round of the playoffs (bi-districts) started Nov. 14-16, followed by five more consecutive rounds culminating with state championship week Dec. 18-21.

Follow along here for all the action Thursday, November 28, through Saturday, November 30. Most of the games take place Friday, November 29.
