PREGAME

Valdosta at Tampa Jesuit will kick off at 7:30 p.m.

Valdosta is off to a 3-0 start after blanking Doughtery 43-0 this past week.The Wildcats will travel to South Gwinnett in Snellville, Ga., next week.

Jesuit is 1-1 on the season after beating Palm Beach Gardens Benjamin this past week. The Tigers will host Tampa Blake next week.

Valdosta pulled into Jesuit with 22 buses. Pretty impressive for a prep program.

First Quarter

Jesuit kicked off to Valdosta and covered it well. Valdosta will start from its own 20.

Valdosta starts the game with a no-huddle offense. And a Jesuit penalty gives Valdosta a first down at the 32.


TOUCHDOWN: Deron Foster scores for Valdosta darting through a big hole on the right side for a 35-yard TD run. The point-after kick was good and the Wildcats lead Jesuit 7-0 with 10:05 left in the first quarter.

Second Quarter

Jesuit pooches the kickoff and it hits a Valdosta player. The ball is recovered by Jesuit at the Valdosta 34.


TOUCHDOWN: Notre Dame commit Justin Thurman scores on a long run to give Jesuit a 14-7 lead after the PAT kick with 10:49 left in the second quarter. Jesuit scores two  touchdowns in just 41 seconds.

Valdosta responds with some strong runs to push the ball inside the Jesuit 37-yard line with 9:18 left in the first half.

Third Quarter

`The second half is underway. Jesuit receives and will begin at its own 34 after a 24-yard kick-off return.

TOUCHDOWN: Jesuit running back Justin Thurman scores on a 1-yard run with 8:24 left in the third quarter to tie the game 21-21.

Ryan McNeil set up the TD by making a big catch to put Jesuit down to the 3-yard line.

Water break at the 4:55 make and Jesuit ited iwth Valdosta 21-21.

TOUCHDOWN: Valdosta quarterback Todd Robinson scores on a 1-yard run. The Wildcats retake the lead 28-21 after the PAT kick was good with 2:50 remaining in the third quarter.

That’s the end of the third quarter with Valdosta leading Tampa Jesuit 28-21. Valdosta has the ball on their own 36-yard line.

Fourth Quarter

TOUCHDOWN: Valdosta caps off a long drive with a 19-yard touchdown pass from Todd Robinson to junior wideout Prince Jean with 7:39 left in the game. The PAT kick was good and Valdosta leads Tampa Jesuit 35-21.

Valdosta senior quarterback Todd Robinson has accounted for four touchdowns on the night -- two running and two passing -- and there is still 6:35 remaining in the game as the teams head into the final water break of the game.

TOUCHDOWN: Jesuit fullback Ryan McNeil catches a short touchdown pass from Will Griffin with 3:35 left in the game. The point-after kick was good and Jesuit cuts the Valdosta lead down to 7 points, 35-28.

FINAL: Valdosta 35, Jesuit 28

With the win, Valdosta is off to a 4-0 start. The Wildcats will travel to South Gwinnett in Snellville, Ga., next week. Jesuit is now 1-2 on the season. The Tigers will host Tampa Blake next week.
