Photos: Puyallup thrashes Bethel 46-18 in long-awaited Washington high school football season debut

SPANAWAY — Ziere Ford rushed for four touchdowns and caught one more in his first start and Puyallup dealt a season-opening thrashing in a 46-18 win over Bethel on Friday.
The Vikings, SBLive's No. 7 ranked preseason 4A team, hopped up to a 22-0 lead in the first quarter and staved off a spell of mid-game momentum to outlast Bethel and Washington signee Will Latu.
