SBLive's 2021 Washington high school baseball rankings: Who are the top teams in every classification?
Almira Coulee Hartline baseball coach Mike Correia has probably never gone 693 days between coaching games, but, by his count, that many had passed between his team's first game of the spring 2021 season and the last time they played before the pandemic.
As teams start seasons with a short lead-up and compete for league and even district titles in the shortened 2021 season, there are plenty of storylines to track across the state. Will anyone catch up to talent-leaden Puyallup in 4A, or Bainbridge in 3A? Which team will separate itself from a top-heavy 2A pack? Will anyone beat Odessa's 1-2 punch of Jett Nelson and Tim DeWulf on the mound?
After discussions with baseball coaches throughout Washington, SBLive is releasing its Top 10 rankings for each classification as of April 21. These rankings will be updated again at the end of the season.
