LONGVIEW, Wash. — The district trophy is staying in Longview.

This time, it's staying across town.

R.A. Long continued its special season Friday night. Its big three stepped up: Cavin Holden had 15 points, Aaron Ofstun added 14 and Jamond Harris pitched in 14 as the Lumberjacks beat Tumwater in the 2A District IV championship at Mark Morris High School.

Luke Brewer found his way offensively early as Tumwater built a first half lead. Brewer. had 13 points and finished with a game-high 18 points for the Thunderbirds, No. 6 in SBLive's 2A power rankings. Both teams find out their path forward Sunday when a state seeding committee releases the regional and state brackets.
