The WIAA state baseball semifinals took place Friday for the first time in three years with teams across the state playing to advance to state championship Saturday.

Classes 3A and 4A play at Gesa Stadium in Pasco, 1A/2A plays at Yakima's County Stadium and 1B/2B play at the Ridgefield Outdoor Recreation Complex in Ridgefield.

CLASS 4A SEMIFINALS (BRACKETS)

FINAL: No. 2 Puyallup 3, No. 14 Skyline 1

FINAL: No. 1 Olympia. 7, No. 4 Richland 3

Championship: Olympia vs. Puyallup, Saturday at 4 p.m.

Third place: Skyline vs. Richland, Saturday at 9:30 a.m.

CLASS 3A STATE SEMIFINALS (BRACKETS)

FINAL: No. 3 Kennewick 6, No. 10 Mt. Spokane 2

FINAL: No. 12 Mercer Island 3, No. 1 West Seattle 1

Championship: Kennewick vs. Mercer Island, Saturday at 7:15 p.m.

Third place: Mt. Spokane vs. West Seattle, Saturday at 12:45 p.m.

CLASS 2A STATE SEMIFINALS (BRACKETS)

FINAL: No. 2 Columbia River 1, No. 3 Ellensburg 0

FINAL: No. 4 Tumwater 6, No. 9 W.F. West 3

Championship: Tumwater vs. Columbia River, Saturday at 4 p.m.

Third place: Ellensburg vs. WF West, Saturday at 10 a.m.

CLASS 1A STATE SEMIFINALS (BRACKETS)

FINAL: No. 2 Bellevue Christian 5, No. 3 Chelan

FINAL: No. 1 Cedar Park Christian 7, No. 12 University Prep 6 (bottom 4th)

Championship: University Prep vs. Cedar Park Christian (Bothell), Saturday at 7 p.m.

Third place: Chelan vs. University Prep, Saturday at 1 p.m.

CLASS 2B STATE SEMIFINALS (BRACKETS)

FINAL: No. 2 Brewster 6, No. 3 Jenkins (Chewelah) 5

FINAL: No. 1 Toutle Lake 10, No. 13 Colfax 7

Championship: Jenkins (Chewelah) vs. Colfax, Saturday at 10 a.m.

Third place: Brewster vs. Toutle Lake, Saturday at 1 p.m.

CLASS 1B STATE CHAMPIONSHIP (SATURDAY)
