Volleyball is underway in the state of Washington, and after talking to coaches around the state, SBLive WA is releasing a list of 20 must-see standouts heading into fall season:

CLASS 4A
Danielle Brown, Puyallup, MB, sr., 6-3: The all-state selection is ranked the No. 3 senior in the state by PrepDig.com and will continue playing at Santa Clara of the West Coast Conference.
Hannah Byers, Olympia, OH, sr., 6-2: PrepDig.com’s fourth-ranked senior in the state will play beach volleyball at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo after leading the Bears’ pursuit of a third consecutive state trophy.
Rylie Dolven, Kamiakin, S, sr., 5-7: The 4A/3A Mid-Columbia Conference MVP was a first-team all-state selection and will key the Braves’ pursuit of their first state trophy since 2008.
Laura Eichert, Lake Stevens, OH, soph., 5-11: Burst on the scene for the Vikings as a ninth grader, averaging 3.5 kills a set in earning first-team all-state honors and PrepDig.com’s top ranking for Washington sophomores.
Peyton Ensign, Curtis, S, jr., 5-9: The two-time first-team all-state selection will be key for the perennial state power which should again contend for a state championship after finishing fifth in 2022.
Lilly Etter. Gonzaga Prep, S, sr., 5-10: A Boise State commit and first-team all-state pick has the Bullpups battling state favorites Mead and Mount Spokane atop the Greater Spokane League.
Alyss Kelly, Lake Stevens, DS/L, sr., 5-5: The Kansas State recruit is ranked Washington’s No. 5 senior by PrepDig.com for a Vikings squad that’s eyeing its first championship after runner-up finishes in two of the last three tournaments.
Kendall Mairs, Camas, OH, jr., 5-11: Ranked the No. 1 junior in the state by PrepDig.com, she helped the Papermakers to the 4A GSHL championship and within a match of a state trophy.
Halle Reiter, Camas, DS/L, sr., 5-4: The 4A GSHL co-player of the year is PrepDig.com’s No. 4 senior in the state and will join Puyallup’s Danielle Brown at Santa Clara.
Reese Sheppard, Puyallup, S, jr., 5-9: If the Vikings are to break through for their first state championship, the two-time all-state honoree will be a big part of that charge.

CLASS 3A
Tea Bosanac, Seattle Prep, MB, sr., 6-4: The towering middle of the Panthers’ attack was a first-team all-state pick, and is set to play for Patriot League champion Colgate after her senior campaign.
Victoria Gao, Lakeside of Seattle, DS/L, jr., 5-6: Ranked the No. 4 senior in Washington by PrepDig.com, the all-state second-team selection will be key in the Lions’ defense of the WIAA title.
Brielle Wilson, Mead, S, sr., 5-11: The Humboldt State commit all-state second-teamer leads a Panthers team that was state runner-up last year, the eighth time they’ve finished in the top five in their last 15 trips.

CLASS 2A
Lizzy Andrew, Ridgefield, MB, sr., 6-5: The Stanford commit and PrepDig.com’s top senior in the state followed up an all-state season for the state runner-up Spudders by helping the U-19 national team win the gold at the NORCECA Pan American Cup in Puerto Rico in May.
Lauren Dreves, Columbia River, OH, sr., 6-1: Ranked the No. 2 senior by PrepDig.com, the Auburn commit averaged nearly 24 kills per match at state and overcame an injury in the semifinal to lead the Rapids to back-back WIAA state titles.
Sydney Dreves, Columbia River, OH, jr., 5-11: The other half of the Rapids’ sister act, the junior – ranked No. 2 in her class by PrepDig.com – has twice earned all-state recognition after helping Columbia River to repeat state championships.
Lexie Mason, Burlington-Edison, OH, jr., 6-0: A two-time all-state second-teamer will help the Tigers again contend for the state championship.
Alana Marrs, Ellensburg, OH, jr., 6-4: The second-team all-state selection has already committed to Oregon State, where she’ll join her brother Gavin, a ninth grader on the Beavers basketball team.

CLASS 1A-1B
Payton Davis, Oakesdale, OH, sr., 5-10 (1B): The Nighthawks’ dominance seems likely to continue with the CWU commit and first-team 1B all-state selection at the forefront.
Brynn Hughbanks, Chelan, RS, soph., 5-9 (1A): The first-team all-state selection had Chelan fans chanting, "she’s a freshman," after her powerful kills during last fall’s state championship run.
