Belmont Stakes odds: American Pharoah is betting favorite
The 147th running of the Belmont Stakes will take place June 6 at Belmont Park in Elmont, N.Y.
American Pharoah could clinch the first Triple Crown since 1978 after winning both the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes.
American Pharoah is the favorite to win the Belmont Stakes and is trained by Bob Baffert. The jockey for the race will be Victor Espinoza.
Frosted and Materiality have the second- and third-best odds, respectively. Eight horses will compete at this year's Belmont, after Carpe Diem and The Truth or Else dropped out of the field.
The Belmont Stakes is the longest of the Triple Crown races at 1 1/2 miles and offers a $1.5 million purse.
