After Stephen A. Smith claimed that LeBron James’s wife would never make a comment such as Ayesha Curry’s claim that the NBA is rigged, Curry took issue with Smith on Twitter.

“Savannah is not like that at all,” Smith said on ESPN’s First Take, according to a transcript on Complex. “LeBron doesn’t have to protect her. She doesn’t put herself in those positions. She’s at practically every home game. Every time I’m in Cleveland, just like when I was in Miami, I saw her at every game. Everyone knows who she is. She sits in the same place. She’s at every game, and she’s just as pleasant as you can be.”

Curry shot back.

“Why are you putting two women against each other like that?” Curry wrote. “You’re the one that’s out of pocket.”

Ayesha Curry has been in the spotlight quite a bit lately, mocking LeBron James, and criticizing referees after Golden State’s Game 5 loss, in addition to Game 6.

Stephen Curry fouled out of Golden State’s Game 6 loss late in the fourth quarter and threw his mouthguard at a fan. He was fined $25,000 for doing so on Friday.

The series heads back to Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif. for Game 7 on Sunday.
