The Seth Davis Podcast, a new weekly program hosted by Sports Illustrated staff writer Seth Davis, will launch on Nov. 15, SI and DGital Media announced Wednesday.

The podcast will be available on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, Stitcher, TuneIn and other platforms.

Davis is best known for his work in college basketball, but the podcast will feature Davis in conversation with personalities across the sports world, including debut guest Bob Stoops, the head coach of Oklahoma's football team.

"I am extremely excited about this new venture with DGital Media and SI. This is not going to be a college basketball podcast, though I will certainly cover that sport at times,” Davis said. “Rather, it is going to be a chance for me to interview smart, interesting people from all over the world of sports, and maybe even outside the world of sports. I'm hoping to bring my listeners stories and insights from my guests, and I intend to get them to open up on how they go about the creative process and perfect their crafts. I am a big podcast listener, and I am psyched to finally be a host."

Davis started writing for Sports Illustrated in 1995. In addition to his work with Sports Illustrated, Davis also appears on CBS and Campus Insiders as a college basketball analyst.
