Stephen A. Smith doubled down on his displeasure for Terrell Owens in a spicy tweet on Saturday morning after the former NFL wide receiver took a jab at the ESPN analyst by using an old First Take clip to allude to the reason for Max Kellerman’s departure from the show.

On Friday, Smith revealed on The Joe Budden Podcast that he lost interest in working with Kellerman on the network’s popular debate show, saying he thought the show “flatlined when it came to the public at large.” While Smith made clear that he respected Kellerman and considered him “highly intelligent,” he also stated that his former co-host was not an “athlete” or a “journalist,” which led viewers to wonder why they should listen to him.

After Owens tweeted “Facts” in response to an old video clip that suggested why Kellerman was no longer on the show, Smith wrote an extremely hot tweet in response to the Hall of Famer.

“Now….as for this dude, that’s an entirely different story. You know how I feel about your sorry ass @terrellowens and you know why! You should thank your Heavenly Father I haven’t zeroed in on you with the trifling s--- you tried to pull. Tell folks to ask ESPN what your desperate ass tried to pull. Keep on talking. Eventually, you’ll expose yourself! #REALFACTS,” Smith tweeted.

But if Owens does not “expose” himself, Smith suggested that he might fulfill that task during the next episode of his podcast on Monday.

While X—formerly known as Twitter—generates a great deal of debate and insight, it could be the perfect site for Smith to expose Owens like never before in a couple days.
