White Sox players douse teammate Mark Buehrle with beer after his one-walk no-hitter against the Rangers on April 18. Buehrle threw 105 pitches and struck out eight in a game that took just two hours and three minutes.

Royals' third baseman Alex Gordon fields a ball hit by the Tigers' Plácido Polanco in the sixth inning on April 18. Polanco reached first on a throwing error by Gordon, scoring the first of three runs in the inning for Detroit. The Royals won the game 4-3 after 10 innings.

Alex Rodríguez tosses his bat in the air after hitting a two-out, walk-off, three-run homer in the Yankees 8-6 win over the Indians on April 19.

José Reyes may not have been the fastest thing at Shea Stadium on Saturday as hundreds of dogs took part in the annual Dog Day at Shea. Proceeds from all dog tickets sold went to an animal league.

Braves centerfielder Andruw Jones makes a diving catch on a line drive hit by the Mets' Carlos Delgado in the third inning on Saturday. The Mets won 7-2.

The Mets' José Valentin beats the throw home to Brian McCann to score in the sixth inning on Sunday. The Braves won 9-6.

Entering the week with an 8.18 ERA, Giants' pitcher Barry Zito pitched 13.1 scoreless innings last week, getting his first two wins of the season.

Barry Bonds hit solo homers in each weekend game with the Diamondbacks. The Giants won 1-0 Saturday and 2-1 Sunday.

Phillies catcher Carlos Ruiz tags the Reds' Brandon Phillips out in the sixth inning on Sunday. The Phillies won 9-3.

Josh Beckett (4-0) continued his hot start for the Red Sox this season with wins over the Angels and Yankees last week.

Nationals' second baseman Ronnie Belliard throws out the Marlins' Wes Obermueller in the sixth inning on Sunday. The Marlins won 12-6.

Royals' catcher Jason LaRue falls over the Twins' Justin Morneau after tagging him out in the fourth inning on Saturday. The Twins won 7-5.

Yankees pitcher Chase Wright rubs the ball as Jason Varitek rounds the bases after hitting the fourth home run in a row for the Red Sox in the third inning on Sunday night. Manny Ramirez, J.D. Drew and Mike Lowell had already taken Wright deep in Boston's 7-6 victory to sweep the Yankees.

Red Sox closer Jonathan Papelbon earned a save in each of the Red Sox last four games last week, including two against the Yankees.
