Watch: Yankees' Brian McCann taken out on popup ... by his own teammate

Just a guess: On future popups, Brian McCann is probably going to scream "I got it!" a lot louder from now on. And it wouldn't hurt to toss his mask a little further off the field, too.
The above blooper comes from Tuesday's spring training matchup between the Yankees and Nationals. The unfortunate soul accidentally taking a swan dive into McCann's legs is minor leaguer Dean Anna, who's trying to win a backup infielder job with New York. He'll get high marks for his enthusiasm and effort, though taking out the team's new $85 million catcher on a spring training popup probably wouldn't have helped his cause. Luckily for McCann, Anna and the Yankees, everyone came out of the tumble without a scratch.
