Brewers center fielder Carlos Gomez passed a concussion test on Saturday following a collision earlier in the day with right fielder Ryan Braun, according to a report from Adam McCalvy of MLB.com.

The NL Central-leading Brewers listed him as day-to-day and are calling it a left neck strain following their 7-4 win at home vs. the Rockies. The 28-year-old All-Star will undergo further tests on Sunday morning when the team readies to wrap up its series vs. Colorado.

The collision occurred when the Rockies' Ryan Wheeler hit a soft double in the seventh inning. Gomez remained on the ground as head athletic trainer Dan Wright and manager Ron Roenicke came out onto the field. 

The timing was rather unfortunate, as Gomez had suffered a possible head injury just a day earlier when he collided with Rockies second baseman Josh Rutledge's leg on a stolen-base attempt. He did not undergo further tests, according to McCalvy, but did say he had a headache.
